Not as cheap as Sporting life but everything else is gone. So for guys out there that are like few inches shorter or weigh less, maybe not a good idea to get this.īought 2 of these at DueWest on Queen Street, was the last 2 in XS Ebano, on sale $675. If I were any smaller, I think XS will be short of too long or big.
I'm about 5'5" and 135lbs and about 36" chest so I got XS in Ebano (Gray). I originally was going for the MooseKnuckle Stirling Parka but that had a host of issues, especially the sleeves and that zipper opening. Especially for standing outside for long periods if my kids wanted to play outside in the snow etc. I wanted a Parka that's warm and long so to brave the most harshest conditions.
So been though a load of coats and jackets before deciding on this one. Will write a bigger review with pictures and fit etc later and hopefully can sticky this on top page. If I didn't get my Gormley at a nice discount I probably would've returned it I got it exchanged to one that was fuller and and more even throughout but still does not compare to the fur on CGs. The fur ruff on the Gormley I picked up was also lacking bad.
I also notice one parka has those elbow things changed from that soft faux leather thing to some more robust fabric. Trying to get the fur ruff's exchanged, see how it's severely lacking? Not sure if anyone else notice this on their $700+ jacket.Īnyway. I actually had to talk to Mark and email him.
